About Me
Born and raised in North Dakota. My husband and I have three kids ages 24, 22 and 17. I love spending time with family and friends at the lake in the summer and curling up with a good book in the winter. I am always looking for a new author to read. I have a passion for giving back to the community. I am blessed that I get to do that full-time as the executive director of Souris Valley United Way. I love to cook but don’t like doing dishes, so you can often find me at my favorite local Mexican restaurant, Mi Mexico. I am a proud member of Magic City Lions, a service club that volunteers and donates to local causes in Minot.
Fun Facts About Me: 1) I have no problem speaking in front of thousands of people but leave me alone in an elevator and I will panic! 2) I spent 10 years working in the fitness industry before an injury caused me to make a change, leading me to non-profit work. 3) I love documentaries and would prefer to watch one over a movie any day.
