About Me
Minot became home almost a decade ago when my husband got a position on Minot Air Force Base. We packed up our stuff and drove halfway across the county to the furthest West I had ever been at the time. Moving from Central New York, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I promised myself I would give this place a solid chance despite what I had ‘heard’, and I am so glad I did.
I consider myself a community champion, and a natural relationship builder at heart. I pride myself on knowing what’s happening in the Magic City and who is behind it. Minot is a blossoming community, there are so many good things happening. We have great education, and recreational activities here like the recently completed Magic City Discovery Center. We spend a lot of time at the amazing (best in the state) Roosevelt Park Zoo with our children (ages 5 and 3).
In recent years, I picked up gardening, some Cricut crafting, and listening to audio books on the go. My favorite thing is chasing the Aroura Borealis, something I will never stop enjoying. The beauty of the northern lights dancing across the prairie sky is unmatched to the city lights I left behind a decade ago.
Fun Fact About Me: Chasing the lights was not something I realized we could do right here in Minot. I am constantly in awe of the Aurora and will always head out to see them dance, even in fridged temperatures.
